I've seen lots of positive things about '08, but just wasn't sure. I had just told P I was on the fence about buying this year. It seems EA has started paying attention to the little things. If they solve even half of the "stuff" from Community Day, it looks like I'll be coming out of my pocket yet again.

I haven't posted anything here since October.

I think I can safely say that such a hiatus won't happen again.

Anyway...

-The Celtics close out the Cavs. Gotta be hard to get 45 from your star player in a deciding game and still get sent home. I'm not even sure how to feel about this...I'm just glad we don't get a LeBoobie-Pistons series.

-The Lynx host Detroit today in their home opener. Seimone and Candace = A trip or two to 1st Ave. this summer.

-I shall Hit Stick an aggin before it's all said and done. We are very, very close. Online gaming is the new trap, but that's another post. Get it right EA!!

I've been trying to figure it out...and that's the only conclusion.

Unless Brad Childress somehow thought that honoring the pride of Kiln, MS somehow meant that we were supposed to honor the entire state of Wisconsin -and by extension, Coach Bielema's safe and appropriate injury management standards- there really is no explanation for this.

Adrian Peterson is not Kyle Jefferson.

I don't recall Peterson getting injured.

He didn't get carted off on a stretcher...Didn't have to leave under the support of a trainer or teammates...Didn't duck out to catch the birth of his child...

You can see why Kyle Jefferson wasn't allowed to continue on Saturday.

I doubt if we'll ever hear any voice of reason on the subject of AP's involuntary disappearing act in the second half.
